The Making Strides San Diego fundraiser walk on Sunday was amazing! The walk took place in Balboa Park in San Diego and for anyone who has never been, we suggest you check it out. Balboa Park is a beautiful place, with museums, Japanese gardens, an art gallery, and cultural centers, it will keep anyone occupied for hours. Sadly, it rained for the entire walk, but everyone was in such great spirits that it didn't seem to matter. Making Strides ended up raising over $900,000 for breast cancer research, which is insane! Fresh Karat is glad we could be a part of such a great experience and our "Karats for the Cure" headwraps were a huge success!
